With over 25 years of experience as an intellectual property (IP) Paralegal/Law Clerk, Angie has an extensive understanding of both U.S. and Canadian IP practice and administration. 

Angie has worked in-house in both the U.S. and Canada (in the automotive sector) and has experience leading IP teams at several law firms, including a major Canadian firm. Her diverse, cross-border experience in these different environments gives her the ability to see new situations and challenges from different perspectives and to find creative, cost-effective approaches and solutions. As well as handling large and small worldwide patent and trademark portfolios using industry-leading docketing systems and software, Angie has experience in direct file management, working through client portals and using clients’ in-house software systems to track deadlines and maintain their files and portfolios. 

Angie is committed to continued education in the industry and ensuring that she and her team stay current, informed, and knowledgeable across the ever-evolving IP landscape in the US, Canada, and abroad. She leads team training initiatives, and works with attorneys to keep the firm’s policies and procedures up to date with the most current developments in the practice. She is focused on maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and enabling the firm to consistently deliver excellent service to its clients specifically tailored to their needs.

Angie enjoys travelling, participating in local charity walks, and caring for her energetic standard poodle.
