“After many years in the industry, I wanted to create a firm that would offer the best of what I had experienced at a large firm, while being more nimble, entrepreneurial and better adapted to work with clients as a team.”

Celia supports worldwide clients from her office in Idaho.

Celia founded Leber IP Law in 2011. As a patent attorney of more than 20 years, Celia has worked at major law firms and as in-house counsel. She specializes in counseling U.S. and international clients on patent protection for mechanical devices, engineering processes and chemical compositions, for both startups and Fortune 500 companies.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering from Boston University, and spent her early career formulating and testing adhesives in the laboratory at W.R. Grace. After inventing and patenting a unique adhesive, Celia fell in love with the patent process and decided to transition into patent law.

She earned her law degree cum laude from Suffolk University Law School while working as a patent agent at Fish & Richardson, where she remained for many years. Prior to founding Leber IP Law, she created a patent practice within a general law firm and an in-house IP department at a small company.
